OUR PROGRAMS

  1. Genesis Community Foundation is helping to fund scholarships for students in need of financial assistance to attend Florence Darlington Technical College to advance their education at the college level.
  2. The Macedonia Life-Skills Centers provide mentoring and tutoring to disadvantaged and underserved young people, as well as a safe, supervised place to engage in fun and creative learning activities. These activities encourage positive behavior, and will have a lasting effect on their lives. Programs focus on life-skills, bible study, reading, health & wellness, career exploration, and more.
  3. The Foundation provides funding for a weekend food program for disadvantaged students in the Darlington County School District. Each student receives a backpack of food on Friday to assure they have adequate, healthy meals for the weekend. The program also provides clothing, toiletries and school supplies to students as needed.
