DDRA Members: Do you have news about your business or organization you want to share? We can come take a photo or use what you already have. Darlington Library presents the Black Creek Literary Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at the library, 204 N. Main St. Local authors include Robert A. Atkinson, Elizabeth Eades, Jack Gannon & Cyndi Williams-Barnier, Ralph Gibbs, Gina Heron, Brenda Konitzer, Carlo L'Chelle Dawson, Suzanna Linton, Jonathan Mashack, Charlene McDonnough, Arylias Nova, Sara Odom, Niana Renee, Regina Smeltzer, Molly Symons, Robbie Taylor, Sarah Templeton, and Elizabeth Ann Wallace as well as vendors. In partnership with the Friends of Darlington County Library and Burry Bookstore.

 

Monday

The Darlington High School Athletic Booster Club will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at the DHS Media Center.

The Darlington County Board of Education regularly meets at 6 p.m. on the second Monday of each month in the Training Room of the DCSD Administration Building, 120 E. Smith Avenue, Darlington.

Wednesday, Jan. 30 – First DDRA Members Meeting of 2019 at 8 a.m. at Taki’s Diner, 609 Pearl St. Breakfast is provided. Cost: Free for members and $5 for others to go toward the meal.
