Due to Thanksgiving next week, our DDRA breakfast will be this Thursday at 8:00 a.m. at Takis. We'd love to see you there, so please make plans to join us.

I also want to share details for our Downtown Darlington Christmas Festival on Saturday, December 6.

• Festival time: 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

• Location: Downtown Darlington Square

• Parade: 2:00 p.m., with the festival pausing for the parade and resuming afterward

• Vendor setup begins at 10:00 a.m. and vendors should be ready by 11:30 a.m.

• Vendor fee: $50
