Weekend Update & Holiday Closures
Before you head out for the holiday weekend, check out live music at The Grand Old Post Office!
The Southeastern Bluegrass Association of South Carolina presents a great youth band Mountain Highway from Virginia at its monthly concert and jam session on July 3 at the Grand Old Post Office, 201 Pearl St., Darlington. Featured bands in concert from 5:45 p.m. to 8 p.m. Doors open at 4 p.m. for jamming and open mic at 5 o'clock. Additional jam session from 8 to 9 p.m.
Admission is $7 for members, $5 for students, free for children and $10 for others. Special thanks to Baker Transportation Inc. for helping fund this event.

- Nick's BBQ will be closed Fourth of July weekend and July 12-16.
- South of Pearl will be closed on Monday, July 5.
- Taki's Diner will be closed Sunday, July 4, through Tuesday, July 6.
- The Dairy Bar will be closed Wednesday, June 30, and reopen Friday, July 9.
- B&B Restaurant will be closed Saturday, July 3, through Saturday, July 10.
- Chianti's Wings & Things will be closed Saturday, July 3.
- City of Darlington offices will be closed on Monday, July 5.
- Fahrenheit 225 will be closed Friday, July 2.
- Great China will be closed Monday, July 5, through Wednesday, July 7.
- Jewel's Deluxe Restaurant will be closed Sunday, July 4, through Sunday, July 11.
- Joe's Grill will be closed Monday, July 5.
- Palmetto Subs will be closed Sunday, July 4.
- Raceway Grill will be closed Friday, July 2, through Sunday, July 11.
- Sarah's Porch will be closed Saturday, July 3, and Sunday, July 4, as well as Sunday, July 11.
