The Mayo High School Alumni Association plans its Homecoming Celebration for October 7-9. On Friday, Oct. 7, Blazers, Blue Jeans & High Heels will be a homecoming dance at SiMT from 7 to 11:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30.

On Saturday, Oct. 8, Alumni Parade will be held at 10 a.m. at the BA Gary Educational Complex with a new route. Line up at 8:30. Entry fee: $10. Later that day, the Tailgate Party will be from 5 to 9 p.m. at Virgil Wells Stadium. Children ages 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. To wrap up the weekend, on Sunday, Oct. 9, there will be a worship service at 10:30 a.m. at A.W. Stanley Gym. Tickets for events go on sale July 1. Info: mhsaa1889@gmail.com
