On October 9 at 9 a.m., the 3rd annual Panting for Paws 5K will take place beginning and ending at the Fitness World Gym on Pearl Street. There is also a virtual 5K if you cannot make it. This race benefits the Darlington County Humane Society and their efforts to build a new shelter with indoor facilities for the homeless dog and cat populations in Darlington County.
